It occurred to me that to better understand what I should do creatively, I should understand other peoples' imagination, to see what is possible.

So, I usually come up with a short phrase with a slight visual figment, or a series of short dynamically visual scenes with minimal dialogue, as though comic panels were animated, or they were segments of a film.

These both usually arrive whole, they are not built, but I can string phrases or scenes togher. But the phrases and scenes are almost always separate in my personal process.

I understand what that means, but my brain does not seem to operate that way. But more power to you, psychicpsamurai.
The only time I see short 'films' is during my REM sleep
:)

My imagination looks like chewing-gum, I cannot stop chewing it.

I think my imagination is like a bat - it only truly functions at capacity when it's dark outside

and, frequently, I love to be eaten :)

But if you are eaten, your imagination is eaten, too. What is your choice?
I'm fond of cat's imagination!
